Yamaha BT1100
Still have this bike but not been used this year as out of MOT - there's nothing wrong with it but the Trail bike has been used instead that's all.
Looking through some old pics from 2009 (September) the detail from the good light was very striking - Canon 300D.
Some work in Photoshop and Color Effex really popped it.

Douthwaitedale
A troubling thing with these videos is the extent this year's subjects have been all too similar to last year - but better quality mainly 4K and longer range plus more confident flying from the Phantom 3!

Silage time again
It's a annoying youtube degraded this quite a bit so the trailers seem to be pushing through a halo of compression artefacts.
It's relatively fast moving things that show it - sedate movements are OK.

Less is more in Farndale
The P3 is more than capable of zooming out up to a mile with no loss of video or control, but firstly I hadn't cached maps for Farndale and secondly it's sometimes more effective to enjoy the parallax effect from close objects 'moving' relative to more distant ones.

Fast reverse
This is twice as far as the Vision Plus could realistically go, and still full signal strength on the app.

Westerdale village spring sunset
First proper flight with phantom 3 Pro
There is video but it's nothing special due to bursts of jello shake - have balanced props should stop that but not tried again yet due to weather/busy.
Video is immensely better than Vision Plus, stills less so perhaps - but a major improvement especially in low light.
I was surprised the 4K files rendered at 4k with reduced youtube-ish bitrate are not *impossibly* large to upload - less than 2x 1080p anyway.
From camera it's about 1GB for two minutes but depends on the scene detail.
I'll probably upload mainly downsized to 1080p though. Even recording at 1080p the bitrate is 5x higher than Vision Plus so a huge improvement.
It's noticeably more powerful and extremely precise in flight.
Some videos on youtube show owners taking one out to about 5km!
That's in ideal conditions but with the slightly reduced power EU version too.
I don't think my plus ever went further than 2000 feet but I never really tried - never lost control but did once or twice had video lock up which is very disconcerting if you can only just see a distant speck.
This shot is about 1500 feet out and it does inspire confidence already.
In practice there's rarely any need to go much further, but nice to know the link has plenty in reserve should you go behind branches etc at closer range.

Red Mist
Village from t'other side
Surprising really but I never went behind before, in part because it feels 'wrong' to look at the private backyards.
You get a great view of the setting though, and the snow hides minor messiness!
It's out 1500 feet from where I set off from too, so all but out of sight - but control could go further with decent height.
